Boarding at Galway
What You Need to Know:All pets are required to be up-to-date on vaccines and provide proof of a current negative fecal sample examination. For our canine boarders, current Distemper-Parvo (DHLPP), Bordetella, and Rabies vaccines are necessary. Our feline friends must have current Distemper (FVRCP) and Rabies vaccines.
Pets are housed in climate-controlled accommodations selected by their owners. If for some reason the chosen accommodation is not compatible and your pet becomes anxious, distressed, aggressive, or destructive, they will be moved to a more suitable room, run, or cage. All dogs will be taken outside for long walks at least three times daily. Each day, your pet's temporary home will be cleaned and their bedding replaced and laundered. You do not need to bring anything for your pet to stay with us, however you may bring some items from home to make your pet's accommodations more familiar. We provide beds, blankets and comforters, as well as food and water bowls. Many owners bring a special blanket, toys, and treats for their pet. We feed pets Purina Prescription Veterinary Diets. Dogs are fed EN, a gastro-intestinal friendly diet, and cats are fed OM, a weight management and intestinal friendly diet. We can feed an owner-provided food if your pet is accustomed to a specific diet. Boarding rates are charged the following morning for each night a pet stays with us. For example, if you drop your pet off anytime on Monday and the pet stays until Wednesday, the boarding rate will be charged Tuesday morning and Wednesday morning. All pets receive a complimentary bath on the day they return home! |
